"I have been looking for the "right" red purse for several years, and I've, sadly, spent money on purses that just didn't work our. But this beautiful Madi Calire purse is the absolute perfect shade of red! In addition it speaks "quality" from every angle. The construction is expert and the functions (pockets inside and out) are exactly what a woman (and grandmother) needs. I couldn't be more pleased with this purse - I LOVE IT!!!"

"Was so excited when I received my package.....and then I opened it. The leather was torn in several places and I don't mean a slight tear. One of the tears was about an inch and a half long on the side of the purse, the sewing was a mess and the coin purse was missing. I have purchased many Madi Claire purses in the past, but of the four I ordered during her last show, three had to be returned because of tears in the leather and poor craftsmanship. What has happened to the quality bags she used to bring?"

"I actually have this in 4 colors...yikes on my wallet!!! But, I get complements every day I carry one of these bags. The quality is superb. I am now a Madi Claire junkie!!! I have recently started shopping with shopnbc after years with other "tv" & internet sites. I no longer shop with them because they can't hold a candle to what shopnbc carries. "I wish classics of Madi Claire would not be taken away but, new colors introduced. This is a classic tote that never goes out of style. I use two totes and a roly case to carry all my items to work; don't want my lunch falling out onto the side walk in the morning. Need more time to acquire all colors."

"Pros: Overall I am happy with the bag. It's stiff enough to stand up and roomy enough for a dayplanner, wallet, cell phone, GPS unit, and cosmetics bag. I like the zipper top and the over the shoulder double straps. I don't know how much of the bag is leather; maybe only the croco-embossed part, but even so the patent trim is pretty. I bought the purple and it looks good.
Cons: I was disappointed that the patent does not extend to the bottom of the bag; it is instead sewn to the inner lining. I am concerned that the inner lining will tear with the weight of the contents of the purse. It's possible that the leather bottom and half-sides that form the outer pockets will carry the weight, but time will tell. I'm not wild about the large metal bling on one side of the bag; I think it makes the bag look cheaper. Something less gaudy would be more tasteful. I would also suggest discontinuing the coin purse and dropping the price a few bucks. Lastly, the exposed orange stitching is not a dealbreaker but I would have preferred something with less contrast (purple)."

"I bought this a few months back still trying to find my paperwork to return it. The side pockets ripped the leather on the main part of the purse the second month I had it from just putting my hand in and out to get my keys out.

"This bag was well made; however, it was not my style. It had too many (too large) rhinestones on the hardware that I didn't notice on the website. In addition, it appears that only a part of the bag is leather and the rest is plastic. I prefer to use only all-leather bags. It was attractive and the price was good; but just not for me."
