"Over the years, I purchased and returned this version of Pam's offerings in her Chinchilla designs, along with her Chillian Chinchilla coat.
I own the original Replica Fur coat that resembles the lines and markings of a real Chinchilla coat. To me, it is the most elegant, the most accessories were made to match my coat...hats, 100" scarf, tote, a gorgeous replica fur stole, etc. etc.....and I own them all, happily.
I wanted to like this rendition, but it just didn't have "the goods"...in my opinion. When I saw Sara model it on the video...she looked fabulous, and I am sure there are other ladies that look fabulous and find pleasure wearing this coat!
The Chilian variety came with some horrible defects, so I returned it. But, once again, there are MANY women who own and love this design, too!!!!
Now, this my opinion, only: When you own the most STUNNING and the "Real McCoy"...in my estimation, why settle for less? And with all my Replica fur accessories available to me, that match my design....just adding one at a time, or just wearing the coat sans Any of my matching accessories... when I wear Pam's Original Chinchilla Replica fur coat, the effect is pure elegance and drama!!!
One time, I wore a magnificent black velvet dress, with the matching Chinchilla stole with long black velvet gloves, and made my entrance to a lovely formal event in a swank NYC hotel, headed towards the large ballroom... with my matching Replica Chinchilla Fur long, long coat over my shoulders!! I was fortunate to purchase this coat, and be able to purchase all the matching accessories. I just feel lucky, having so many options!!
I am happy for all the women who found beauty in this design and Pam's other one. That's why there are over 52 flavors of ice cream!!

"I was on the fence with this one based on the video but the coat is stunningly beautiful in person. It's very soft and classy looking and does not scream fake fur. I am so glad I decided to order it. I am very upset about Pam McCoy no longer being at ShopNBC. I have about 10 of her fur replicas and each one is truly beautiful. I am really glad I got this on clearance since I am not sure if I will be able to purchase any more of her items in the future. Good luck, Pam. You are a class act!"

"this gorgeous coat has sleeves so long. even turning the cuffs over only added additional bulk to the arms, and the look was not favorable at all.
i priced what the charge would be to have the faux fur sleeve length corrected by a pro tailor in order to properly fit my arm length, and the cost was horrific.
sorry ms mccoy but this item will go back, gorgeous coat but i am an average size woman with a normal arm length, and yet i cannot help but feel this coat was really designed for an orangutan with tremendously long arms."

"I have real fur coats that I purchased many years ago before I thought about the animals that were killed for their pelts. When I saw this coat on TV I just thought it looked beautiful. I kept thinking it probably looks fake and I'll just send it right back. I was really impressed with the quality and how beautiful it looked on me. "This coat runs a little small. It was my second faux fur purchase from ShopNBC. I LOVE the reversible faux mink that I purchased 5 years ago - it's dense, shiny, heavy and soft. Maybe my expectations were too high with this purchase, but I wasn't as impressed with Pamela's Chinchilla. I did return the coat, but I'm still a huge Pamela McCoy fan."

"This is my 2nd coat from Pam Mccoy & it is even more fabulous than the 1st! Fits perfectly, slides on like silk & the weight is perfect - substantial & luxurious without the bulk. I've worn it out twice & every time I put it on I rub my hands all over it! It's soooo SOFT!! Makes me feel like a million bucks. The hooks down the inside front are so perfectly placed that the front of the coat is perfectly smooth all the way down. Don't know how PM can make a coat of this quality for this price, but LUCKY ME!! Would not change a thing about this coat.
