"Got this watch with the hope that it would be as good as advertised, and to be honest it exceeded my expectations. The T-100 multicolor tubes are amazing and very easy to read in low light and the bright white hands against the blue background stand out during day light. Probably one of the easiest watches to read I own."

"I cant say anything that hasn't already been said about this timepiece. I think this is one of the most, if not the best looking watch he has presented to the public to date. I purchased a White dial model back at Christmas time and to date it still my go-to watch. I wear it daily, cant help it. I have 4 other Deep Blues but this one is the "creme de la creme" of Deep Blues. Your revised "Alpha Marine 500" is my next purchase! I still have the first edition of this great piece. Keep them coming Stan. You build nothing but winners!"

"I thought this would only be one of my night watches due to the T-100 tubes, but it is such a good looking and comfortable watch it has become one of my favorite day and night time watches. The blue wave pattern dial against the black ceramic bezel is stunning . Now lets talk tubes. This watch is amazing with 65 tubes that glow and light up in the dark like nothing you have ever seen.
Add Swiss made 2824 automatic movement, SuperLuminova on a scratch resistant ceramic bezel, great size at 45mm and its a winner all around. Highly recommend it!"

"I'll echo all that's been said by previous reviewers - it's a great watch. I chose the white and find it to be both exquisite and sporty - dressy but not overly so and still ultra sporty. I would prefer a straight 24mm bracelet but it's okay as is. We love you, Stan! :)"

"This is a fantastic watch. Perfect size. Excellent quality. I chose the white. It has more of a silver tone which works perfect for business and casual. My watch keeps excellent time (+4 sec per day) for an automatic. The best part is the lume!!! At night it is breathtaking. Nothing comes close. It will have you going into the closet just to see it light up! It is a joy to wear! You won't be disappointed!!!"

"I agree with some of the reviewers about keeping the case sizes at mid-range 45-46mm. This watch is absolutely beautiful 65 tritium tubes that glows all night, even use them to navigate the house at night, Swiss movement, exhibition back. I just purchased the Daynight T100 from DB.com and it is just as exquisite as this one. Keep up the good work Stan."

"Stan i hope you read the reviews I'm a Deep Blue nut case and for good reasons.I have M2K,master mag,3K,well every watch you made but this Recon is the Best you ever made by far IMO.keep them at 45mm You put 3everything that is the best for a long,hard,deep,lume,movement.and then tube every second on the dial with T-100's the colors, the glow is outstanding.Bro you are the man..WE can't thank you enough for your dream as the best for the money spent watches and you are the best at it...I owned so many hardcore tool divers that build great watches too but they cost the same but they don't go as far as putting tubes in and if they did not every second.The watch is just insane..Thank you sir and shop for making it easier with the vp's and Deep Blue..For those that don't spend the money at that 900 to 1000 range man If anybody else did it and there is some but not and no were near 65 tubes at T 100 would cost you 3 to 5 thousand mark..go look..Now this is the lowest price for top noch watch..It's a steal.."

"This is one of my favorites, the tritium is what makes this watch for sure, you can read the time day or night in any light.
very comfortable also, only thing I wish was different is I would prefer if the band started a little wider like 24mm and tapered to 22mm light the Sun Divers do."

"I have a nice collection of watches, mostly divers, so I'd like to share my thoughts on this new diver from Deep Blue. I hope it is of some help if you are considering getting one of these babies.
First, its from a company that is friendly, professional and caring about its customers. They've sent me extra links at no cost to me and shown interest and concern for my feelings about their watches. Thats a very special feeling that I don't have with any other watch maker. Second, this Recon is stunning to look at. I've got the white dial with the dark blue ceramic bezel and the combination of colors with the wave texture pattern on the dial is very well done. It is easily one of the nicest looking watches I own. I don't know why it isn't in the video; perhaps the white sold out before this watch was aired? That wouldn't surprise me at all in this case. In fact, I would expect that here.
The 2824 is running a very solid +5 seconds/24 hours for me and I can't ask for better than that. It winds easily and the action of the crown and also of the bezel just scream quality. Its also in my "sweet spot" for size at 45mm in case diameter and chunky. Its perfect on the wrist. At first, I thought the 22mm bracelet tapering to 20 by the clasp might be a problem for me because I prefer 22mm non tapering or even 24mm wide bracelets but it actually looks really well done just the way it is. I don't usually like Deep Blue bracelets but this one is well made and looks perfect for this case. I'm not a diver so I don't need 500 meters of water resistance but I do like that big of a number and I'm impressed that they did it with an exhibition case back. People are impressed when I show it off at work and anywhere I go really. I don't think I've ever seen that good a resistance with an open case back before, too. Very cool really and its fun to show off something so nice. My brother, who wears a Rolex every day, could not stop looking at my Recon. He won't ever admit it because he paid about five times as much for his but I know he wishes his watch were even half as cool or as nice a wrist presence as mine is.
This Recon is well worth the money just as it is with all of the elements addressed above. Now toss in the fact that there are 65 t100 tubes on the dial and you have a super duper deal. Where else do you see tubes at all and when you do, they are much weaker in glow strength. This one is a torch and very colorful, too. Its the nicest watch I own and the coolest with the all night long bright glow of the tubes (and bezel lume, although that does not last all night at the same intensity as the tubes). Its also the most fun watch I've ever owned.
Thanks Stan and Shop for an outstanding fun timepiece that will stay forever in my keeper box. I really love this watch and wish there was an option to give it ten stars."

"I am already a Deep Blue collector. I appreciate that DB has set a standard for the watch making community with their commitment to quality of movements, production and details really appreciated by collectors like me; especially sapphire crystals and excellent bracelets with screws not pins.
My high expectations for this new "Recon" were met in spades. Ground-breaking precedent with 65 T100 tubes on the dial! Wow! In my blue dial version I love the blue and yellow glow.
Then there is the classic clean look of the dark blue dial with subtle wave pattern and great contrast and clarity of the markers and white hands with black ceramic dial and superluminova minute markers.
Oh, and the highly desirable and accurate ETA 2824 movement, exhibition caseback and 500 meters water resistance with REAL sapphire crystals!
AND the usual screwed-in links, half-links, wetsuit extension, micro adjustments............WOW!
This watch looks great and has everything you could wish for in a true diver's watch, including the best illumination imaginable in a classic size.
Well done Stan and Deep Blue!"
