"The watch in red is striking. I have used it for about two months. The Rhonda 8040 N Quartz movement, which I have in several other Invictas, is superb. I like the retrograde day display and the large date, which I can actually read without my glasses. The flame fusion dial will resist most scratches.
What I don't like is that the luminescent qualities are poor. When exposed to a high intensity light, the numerals glow and are readily visible. However, they only glow for a few minutes. This quality makes the watch essentially un-readable in the dark. While not in the same price range, by a factor of 10 -15 I have other watches that glow readily and for hours with the slightest exposure to light. I guess that you get that for which you pay.
The rubber strap has two keepers that keep the excess strap from getting caught on clothing, etc. These keepers are supposed to lock onto ridges on the band. They do, but do not stay locked. Several times I have to put them back into place to hold down the loose excess strap. Is it difficult? No, but it is a bother after three or four times in a day.
In conclusion, I think that the watch will be reliable and I have registered it with Invicta for the 5 year warranty. Customer service is great! However, if the watch fails during the warranty period, and you look at the money it costs to ship them the watch, along with a substantial check to cover its return, it is almost not worth the trouble on an inexpensive watch.
In general, Invicta does not have good luminescent qualities, based on about 40 of their watches I own. The way to go is to get one with the bracelet and get it sized correctly - avoid the rubber straps. With other costs, the strap's shortcomings and the poor luminescent qualities, I cannot recommend this watch - it is just not a "good deal"."

"I loved the face and would of kept the watch, but I thought it was a little undersized. 52 or 53 mm would of made that watch a must have. The two eyelets on either side of the strap are not needed, kinda takes away from the watch face. Also a option for a black steel bracelet would be nice."
