"This Subaqua is a classy big watch with lots of style. It's size is demanding and the face is well layed out. It gets a lot of attention. I own over 30 Invictas and this is going to be one of my favorites. The day of the week at the top is easy to read and so is the big double date window at the six o'clock position. I love the design of the case within a case; that is so unique. This watch is Swiss made and has 500 meters WR so I can wear it diving or out on the boat without a worry. I would recommend this watch to anyone who likes big watches that are heavy, keeps good time, and looks fantastic."

"I've been a shopper for years now buying something once a month.
Very happy with ShopNBC,for handling my problem. I got this watch and within under a month, while having it on one day, took it off. And noticed one of the bolts were missing. called ShopNBC and they took care of it.
Just not too happy with Invicta, even after I got my replacement I checked all the bolts on this watch and found almost all bolts were loose.
Need to slow down production QC can not check them all."

"Got the silver-tone. Great watch, but it is very difficult to read the time. For the quality and price you need to be able to read the time. Otherwise it's just a fancy piece of stainless steel on your wrist. I returned it for a blue dial version and now I'm happy. AVOID SILVER-TONE!"

"I was very eager for this watch to arrive and its the most I have ever spent on a watch. With the amount of anticipation built up, my expectations were fairly high. When I opened the box - I was not at all disappointed.
It is a big watch. It is a heavy watch...but it looks extremely good. I do not have a large wrist - but it stll looks great on my arm.

I read the reviews before I bit the bullett and ordered it - so I was a little worried that I would get a defect...and for a while I thought I had because the second hand was not moving - but one of the chrono hands was...I used the instructions to set the time and date and soon realized the second hand was fine - but if any of the buttons are in the wrong position it will appear as though it does not work.
Totally Satisfied with this watch - Home Run INVICTA!!"

""The Watch" exceeded all my expectations. The retrograde days and date contribute to the functionality and excellent looks of "The Watch".The stop watch will help me keep track of my grandsons improvement in track to the nearest tenth of a second. And it is water resistant to 500 meters (1650 feet). Are you kidding me, this watch is fantastic. My wife says that it is the first watch I have owned that looks like it was made for a big man's wrist. The bracelet is five links wide and attaches to the watch with a style and elegance found only in Invicta watches. I have worn it with a sport coat, jeans, shorts and "The Watch" looks great anywhere. Thanks Invicta, Mission accomplished."

"In simple terms, this watch is a big, well made and attractive time piece. I sent mine back because there are too many sexier alternatives being made these days and if I'm going to spend this kind of money I want all the cool my dollars can buy. A matter of opinion to be sure but I sent mine back."

"I hesitated on buying this piece due to its previous issue with the retrograde date but i believe they finally fixed that issue. I'm so glad I pulled the trigger on this one because it's an amazing piece. I usually rotate my timepieces daily to give them all wear time but I wore this piece three days in a row! Numerous compliments and an eye catcher as usual. If you are considerating this piece go ahead and pull the trigger. You won't regret it!!"

"Make no mistake -- this is a BIG and HEAVY watch. If that's not what you are looking for, I'd suggest further shopping. But, if you are, you absolutely MUST own a Subaqua Specialty on the bracelet.
I purchased the ALL silvertone. This will join my ALL goldtone version. These are jaw-droppinging beautiful. This one looks like you paid well-over a grand, but true to the Invicta philosophy, you can own it at a Shop NBC price.
Order it. You'll be glad to did."

"This watch is everything I expected. The design and features are beautiful. The only problem I had with it is the weight. Almost 1 pound of stainless steel. Way to heavy for me wear on my wrist and Im not a small guy (240 lbs). But to wear this would be totaly unconfortable.

If you have watched Mike and Tim describe it, follow their lead. The 8040N movement, the complexity in the build and design, the weight and feel make this a no-brainer. "The Specialty Subaqua Swiss Chrono watch is my SECOND Invicta Reserve timepiece purchase, and once again, I am completely blown away.
I love the Swiss Ronda 8040N movement in this watch, love the details in the construction of the body of the watch, love the depth of the face, etc., etc. It's complex, it's sophisticated, and it's HEAVY. And I do mean HEAVY. The weight + the quality of build + the chrono, Retrograde day/date features + the overall SIZE of this watch = SUBSTANTIAL. I have smaller watches that I enjoy wearing everyday, but when I'm in a 'Watch Mood', I go for the Specialty Subaqua or my Venom Gen II. They're SERIOUS conversation pieces, and they just feel great on my arm.
Possible down side - you won't be wearing a shirt or dress jacket sleeve OVER the Specialty Subaqua. It's just too tall to allow a sleeve to pass over. I've found myself rolling my button-down shirt sleeves up slightly to reveal the bigger watches. Not such a big deal, since it's a good look, and Invicta watches enjoy being seen! ;)
I've found that my leather motorcycle jacket's sleeve cuff sits comfortably behind the Specialty Subaqua, and my leather riding glove comes right up to meet the opposite side of the watch, framing it perfectly. So, when I'm riding, the watch is perfectly visible, and I no longer have to reach over to push my sleeve up to see the time. PERFECT!
Referencing the previous complaints about a loose Retrograde hand.....I've had the Specialty Subaqua for about a month now, and the Retrograde hand has had a chance to cycle back to 'Sunday' four times without issue. I hope to never have a problem, but IF I do, the warranty will cover the repair. Meanwhile, I'm enjoying this watch!

"You see the 5 stars, the reviews & the design. It's everything it looks to be & more. A beautiful watch and favored by many. I see theres a few reviews regarding issues with the movement being defective but it may have been a shipping issue. With that said its a beast of a watch with lots of sophistication. These models are on the last run. Get one while they are available!!!"
