"The watch is very thick and very large in diameter yet the case has almost no curvature at all. This gives it an odd, unstable feel on the wrist. It has minute and hour timers on the dial but then needlessly duplicates this function with a minute timer on the bezel. The date window is small and a little difficult to read. Andriod has trouble designing complications into it's watches. They also place too much emphasis on size and weight of it's watches while keeping complications to a miinimum. The result is a heavy beast of a watch that doesn't do much other than tell you the hour and minute. For example, they frequently use wide, fixed bezels that don't provide any infromation at all but add a lot of weight. I am also uneasy about the movements they use such as the Seagull automatic movements; Chinese manufactured. Seems they are not very sturdy. Quartz movements are also on the chintzy side. Overall the styling of these watches is also rather odd with strange colors and quirky concepts. I would think twice before shelling out for an Android unless it's maked down substantially."

"I am a faithful viewer of ShopNBC and I have purchased many watches along the way. This is only my second Android I have ordered to date but let me tell you, it will not be my last. I happened to catch one of Wing's shows and when the Divemaster Silverjet 500 Meter strap watch came on the screen I had to have it. The blue face and silver face were the available choices and I was originally leaning towards the blue face. However, when Wing was asked which one he prefered he selected the silver face with the grey strap. So I figured I would base my decision on going with the designers pick. Seeing is believing, because this watch is a beautiful work of engineering. Nice job Wing and keep on wowing your fans on ShopNBC. I am already looking forward to future purchases. In fact I just ordered the set of three leather straps by Android for this watch. They arrived yesterday and I am loving it."

"The watch was far better in person and the wearing was a pleasure. The styling was fantastic. The only rub I feel is that the watch band for some reason seem to be a little understated as compared to the body of the watch. Great product!"

"Having already gotten 2 of the lume dial SJ 9015s and absolutely loved them, I couldnt resist their chrono cousin especially at so tempting a price. It was a hard choice but I decided on the S/S with the silver dial and blue bezel and was not disappointed - great looking watch with dial not cluttered like so many other chronos. Its gray leather strap is a very unusual sharkskin like pattern but it complements the case beautifully and it is very comfortable right out the box. Bezel ratchet control is the best of ALL the diver style watches I have bought from SNBC -- tight but controllable.
Only reason I gave it a '4' were the too sharp edges around the crown protector -- certainly something Wing's Qual Control should have caught. Very noticable as soon as you pull the crown to adjust time/date. Have the same problem with my auto SJs. Still, a definite winner."

"I picked up the blue timepiece and it looks 100% better in person than tv. I thought the strap looked kinda " "cheesy" on tv but it is really a nice strap. The watch wears great, keeps good time, and I like the size also. I have a ton of Androids and I plan to buy a ton more as Wing is great, his watches pop, so I will buy til I run out of money and let's hope that is a long, long time away. Thanks Wing, Harold...the world famous beachbum...!!!"

"Simply a heavy chunk of stainless steel with the quality that only Wing Liang can present.
Great looking sport watch with a simulated shark skin leather band.
I love it. When charged up, the dial lights up like a Christmas tree in the dark.

"WOW! This timepiece is BEAUTIFUL!! The same great look, fit and feel as all Androids. This one is ready to wear right out of the box. The leather strap is so comfortable, the dial is clean,crisp and very easy to read and the lume is again outstanding!!
The small dial at the three oclock position where the constant small seconds are running has no numbers and adds a unique feature and design.
The screw down crown, the bezel design, WOW what else can I say, this Divemaster Silverjet 500 is one that you have to have in your collection or if you are thinking about this one, don't think to long, get this one and you will not regret it.
Just another outstanding timepiece by Mr. Wing and Android!
AND, if you happen to have the Silverjet-2 on the bracelet, the two watches are interchangable, the Silverjet-2's bracelet works and fits on the Divemaster Silverjet 500, so you can have more than one way to enjoy them, either on the leather strap or bracelet.

"pictures do not do this watch justice. The bezel is industrial, clean and has a semi-polished luster to it that enhances the sandwich style case. A real eye catcher that gets noticed by others. The dial is a classy subtle radiant blue. Although I would have liked a stainless steel bracelet, this thick leather strap is a perfect fit for this watch."
