"What a timepiece. This was my second purchase from Invicta and like the first, it was ALL THAT. This is a beautiful watch that commands attention.. I receive compliments and conversation each time I wear it. It is solidly built and looks very expensive. Once again Invicta has delivered and raised the bar."

A bit of a disappointment

"There's much to like about this timepiece. It's got, as they say, presence on the wrist. It is unique and certainly a conversation piece. It is comfortable....particularly at this size....and it reads, day or night, quite well.
Unfortunately, it doesn't, for me, quite carry off the "Reserve" quality label. I find the bent cradle a little to "jerry-rigged" for my taste. Rather than looking like the engineering marvel that Invicta attests, it looks kit-built to my eyes. Perhaps the impression is heightened by the fact that my Akula is contrasting rose-gold on the cradle and black on the case. I was hoping the effect would be clean and simple but it comes off rather unsophisticated."

"I fell in love with this when I saw it on TV and caught it at a great price during a special sale event. I love Invicta, have a huge collection, and also like big statement watches. I wanted a classy, but unique, brown watch to wear with my Navy suits and casually, but this Akula is just too huge and thick. I do want to state that most of the 5 star reviews are on point in regards to it's beauty and details, but this doesn't even allow my sleeves to come down and it is so bulky that I am sure I would be banging it every other minute just moving my arm. I'm 6 ft. with a 7 1/2 wrist, and this was just too much. I usually believe that if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing, and only give low reviews if something is just so terrible or faulty, however while I do think it's still a great Reserve watch, please be warned of it's size."

"This watch was beyond what I expected. I am keeping it because it is a beautiful watch. I love everything about this watch. Ni ine should ever be disappointed in this watch! Everyone that sees it says it is Awesome!! My three year old grandson when he saw the watch he said, "oh grandma it is awesome!!! He ask everyday he comes to visit if he can look at my watches. When he is older I will get him an invicta watch to wear proudly as his own"

"I love the rich chocolate colored dial reminds me of a candy bar but the 18K gold case makes it stand out I have received with numerous comments on the color. The size maybe large but the poly straps makes the watch not has heavy. You can't go wrong with the Akula."

"The Akula wasn't on my wish list at all. I ended up with it almost by accident and had it sitting in the box for longer then it should have. Mine is the earlier version with the double deplyant clasp. I hasn't sized it until today because the thought of cutting the strap and messing it up wasn't a pleasant one ! . I would have preferred the standard buckle but now that It's sized (it was easier then I had thought) it fits just fine and feels great ! The Brown is Deep and Rich especially with the Rosetone.. It definitely doesn't feel like a 52 mm and is part of Invicta's reserve Collection. I have a feeling I'm going to be wearing ths one a lot and getting tons of compliments like I do with all my Invicta's !!!"

"I absolutely love the combination of brown and rosetone gold together. Add in the black case, crown, & pushers and this watch is simply gorgeous.
This is Akula #3 for me and by far the most elegant. The fact that a watch of this size can be elegant is an achievement.
The new rubber straps that Invicta is using on the Akula's is fantastic. It's very soft and comfortable and yet is still unique to the Akula.
The sunray dial is a deep brown and the white hands just pop against it.
This is a new favorite in my collection."
