"Got this as a gift for in-laws but when opened they had parts missing and too heavy for them to use. So I gave it 2 stars since they could not use it. I had to send back. If it works for you that is all that matters. I will find them something smaller and light weight."

"I can not believe how good the food tastes in the cooker. I am so impressed. I cooked my first meal and I can tell I will use this everyday. I love fired pork chops and I cooked them in the cooker today and just sprayed them with olive oil. They tasted just as good!! I also cooked squash and it was so good. I am going to eat health for once. And it is easy to clean, what more do you want. Pot Roast tomorrow. YUM"

"Love it so far. Great to make a whole meal for a family of 3 or 4 people. It does take up a lot of space but you need the size to be able to cook a bigger meal."

French Fries better than deep frying

"IMO. I would recommend extreme care in a household with children using this item as with any small appliance that gets hot. One must read and follow instructions each time of use. DH and I love the way it crisps French Fries and hash rounds . It made the whole chicken deliciously moist when I cooked it with lemon , rosemary, and onion stuffed into cavity and covered with a little olive oil. I followed the directions in the cookbook for corning hens but cooked a little longer , also had to turn it and cook a little longer ,but it was great. I tried the 'pop em' type cinnamon rolls but they almost burned on top and I had to nuke for a few minutes to finish cooking them. I will have to experiment but really think it is a great product!"

"I really like the Big Boss, it is easy to clean after cooking, the glass bottom is large and heavy, so some may find it hard to handle, it takes up the whole sink. Breaded chicken legs turned out nice and crispy. French fries when cooked under another item did not turn out crispy, they need to be on the top layer. Hamburger patties turned out great, no more pan frying for me. The tongs that come with the unit are made to remove the mesh basket, I used my own tongs to turn or remove food."

"I was skeptical of this item but have been very pleasently surprised and everything we've made has turned out great. We did some chicken wings, french fries are awesome (just use a bag of frozen fries) and this week we made some pork chops - seriously, the best I've ever had and I'm almost 60 years old!! I don't think it cooks 3 times faster as it claims but it does produce juicy, delish food. We have not added any oil to anything we've tried so far. I'm looking forward to using it for more but haven't had it long enough to experiment fully. Shipping was as promised. Very quick."
