"If you dont want the expense and complexity of a DSLR, then buy this camera. It simply is a great camera. I personally would rather have this than a DSLR. Other reviews about being shipped poorly are not so. My camera was packaged and wrapped so good, that it took me a long time to undo all the wrappings. Camera arrived before it was supposed to, and SHOPNBC's price was about $100.00 cheaper than anywhere else, with six payments and no interest either. What else can I say, except that I am one satisfied customer. I have used other shop at home TV channels in the past, and SHOPNBC beats them all. Only wish they have more variety, and a larger selection of products. Hopefully, in the future, when they have been on the air as long as some other channels, they will have a wider array of products. Now I just have to get my wife to switch, and pay attention to everything Ive been telling her. Simply great product and company."

"I bought a Cannon A=1 years ago and recently decided to shelf it in favor of a digital camera.
The Fujifilm Fine Pix HS25 EXR Digital Camera is an excellent value for the price...easy to use, excellent features, lots of decent software, etc.
I would highly recommend this camera for anybody to use from a novice to a professional."

Nice features but same problems

"My last Fuji camera has the same problems as this one - it doesn't know what to do with the sky. The 'sunset' mode shows in the viewfinder as a pale orange and so does the snapped image. Fuji is giving us sunset colors whether they are there or not. I would not use that setting. Zooming all the way out makes everything blury - you have to manually focus the camera. Even sitting on a park bench, the camera could not focus on an opposite shoreline. Fuji needs to stick with camera basics before making a camera with bells and whistes. I want quality. For the price and hassle of returns, I did not return it. I doubt I would buy an expensive Fuji, but the cheaper ones are ok."

"I SOLD MY OTHER BIG BRAND NAME CAMERA WITH 2 LENSES AND A FLASH. I DID THIS BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT TO CARRY ALL THE BULK AROUND WITH ME. I BOUGHT THE FUJI AND IT HAS A MUCH LONGER ZOOM THAN MY ZOOM WITH MY OTHER CAMERA. TAKES GREAT PICTURES AND HAS LOTS OF BELLS AND WHISTLES."

"Well I can finally say it; I can take a great picture! No more shaky images or side shots of my granddaughters head at the side of the frame because she moved. Fast shooting modes and image stabilization are among the best options of this fine piece of equipment and I have not even begun to explore the rest yet. I am looking forward to making many fine memories that will last a life time..."

"ihave like 4 different cameras and this is the Best by far! i spend a lot of time at the horse track and i have got some Amazing shots of horses comming out the gate running down the track! and of course still photos but those action shots are by the best ive taken with any of many cameras i Strongley Rec this one!!im going on 62 yrs and i have had this camera for about 3 weeks now and i have gotten so many complints on my pictures taken with this camera im very pleased! if i can oparate it anyone can!"

"I just returned from my vacation in the US Virgin Islands and have perfect pictures to remind me of my trip. The camera was a hit, so much so that my nephew ordered one for himself. It would have been nice to have a camera bag/case along with the camera as it is slightly big. I had no problems with the camera. It is a keeper."

"I brought this camera right after I brought my daughter a camera that cost $800.00 and the far away shots were not good without purchasing a lense that cost a great deal. This camera was able to take far away shots that were clear and as though I was in close proximity of the object. It is easy to operate and now my daughter wants one as well. I would recommend this camera to anyone. The picture are clear everytime. I am not sure of everything it can do but it does everything and more that I need from a camera. Great purchase, no regrets."

"Received camera today. and I would like to point out a few issues to anyone who is interested in this model.. First off the packaging from Shop NBC was horrible. The camera was not protected from the abuse of UPS. Second the box the camera came in. Not the shipper box was dented up and was previously opened and resealed with gift wrap tape. I opened the box to find the camera in good condition. But the view finder was blurry. I called Fuji for support and that was a waste of time. There support center or lack there of was like talking to a wise guy from the Sopranos tv show. I figured out how to fix the issue myself. Also I would like to state this camera's software will not support OSX 10.5 and above. I am running OS Lion and unable to read the memory card while installed in the camera using the USB. Now on the free $400 software. What a joke! If you want to use the print creations software it will cost you $1.99 a download for there holiday themed cards. Otherwise you get worthless generic cards for free. Shop NBC fails to point this out when pitching this camera on the air. The rest of the software is no different than most shareware you get off the net for free! Moving on to the camera it's self.. It is decent and has some good features that I am still exploring and so far I like the user interface and the ease to get good pics and video. Is it worth $350.00? Hard to say.. Fuji.s customer service stinks. There software is years outdated for Mac users but the camera is a nice step up from the point and shoots."
