"this painting requires an overhead portrait light because it is way to dark to look at as it is. i am just an ordinary individual who wanted a piece of Mr Kinkades' work and i didn't want my home to look like a portrait gallery i was very disappointed when i received it. TV was very deceiving with this picture on air."

"I purchased this for my daugther as a wedding gift. She has always admired Thomas Kinkade and was devastasted when he died a month before her wedding. She didn't think she'd be able to ever afford a painting of his.
She absolutely LOVES this painting. She says there is so much dimension to it that doesn't show on TV. There is a sunset that shows up when you dim the lights and as the sun sets, then the light in the cabin comes on. It's like having several paintings in one!.
I don't think I would have been able to afford this picture anywhere else than ShopNBC. Thanks so much for a gift that will last a lifetime. It's an heirloom that will be cherished for generations to come."
