"Love the ring but it had to go back as the center stone was very crooked. I have no idea how it passed quality control. Having said that, I sent it back for a replacement because the ring itself is very pretty. The colors are great, good value. I would recommend it IF they can get a handle on quality control. If you get one that is as it should be, the ring is fabulous."

"This was so much more than I expected. I do own 2 black opals from Australia so I really didn't expect much in this price range. I would recommend it to anyone who likes something different. Keep bringing us more Paul Deasy!"

"paul d my gosh you have outdone yourself!. this is one of the most beautiful rings i have ever seen---the opal is incredible: flashes of oranges, greens, red---i was afraid the final product wouldnt be as pretty in person when i saw the white stones were white topaz, as they are often dull-- but they glitter like white zircon or diamonds. setting the black spinel around the opal makes each of the three stones work together to make this glittering, colorful, gorgeous ring. One of the best ring purchases i have ever made and BOY have i made alot of them!:! tks paul!"

"I received this ring yesterday. To say it is beautiful is simply NOT ENOUGH. The color play in the Opal is beautiful. As the other reviewer said the white topaz looks like white zircon. The black spinal plays up the color of the opal. Do not hesitate if you are on the fence about this one. You will not be sorry."

"OH my God , first of all the white topaz is looking like white zircons in sparkle, and then black spinels are perfect to compliment the most amazing COLOR PLAY in the black ehtiopian i have ever ever seen.....please bring in more colors if there are, like white and golden and orange etc etc"
